We present an alkalinizing smoothie that provides fiber, antioxidants, and immune boosting nutrients for optimum health- ideal for breakfast or a snack.
½ cucumber or similar vegetable
1 cup spring or filtered water
Juice of ½ lime, cilantro or parsley
2 to 4 leaves of chard, spinach, or kale
Ground flax, sesame, or chia seeds
Cashews (or other nuts) blended with applesauce, mango, banana, apple, or pear
Maple syrup or raw honey
Celery, pear, and nectarine add fiber
